'Theory will take you only so far'

Is what physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer stated. While I am not concerned with developing an atomic bomb, I think this can be interpreted in multiple ways; within your social life, your studies and your career.

At the University of Groningen, I obtained my master's degree in Finance. During this period, I got to know JBR during one of the in-house days organized by the university. It seemed like a valuable combination to gain work experience in the field of my expertise, business economics and finance, in addition to writing my master's thesis. JBR offered me the opportunity to take this step.

It is both fascinating and instructive to apply the theoretical knowledge gained in practice. The diversity of the assignments ensures that no two days are the same, and the working atmosphere is particularly pleasant. I appreciate JBR as an organization where collegiality and cooperation are key.

I get a lot of energy from consulting and discussing assignments and the challenges we face in them. What I especially appreciate is the collaborative approach to problems and finding solutions. It is fascinating to see how each team member brings in a unique perspective, from which I can learn a lot. The broader the perception, the stronger the solution.
