JBR M&A Young Professionals Event

To celebrate JBR's 40th anniversary, we invited "young" peers in the M&A sector and related to the Young Professionals event.
We were in the beautiful building of Capital C Amsterdam where we came together to meet, learn and share.
Thijs Verheul talked about the origins of United Wardrobe. During his college days, a college friend came up with the idea of creating a "marketplace" specifically for clothing. A gripping story about creativity, collaboration, entrepreneurship, a touch of inexperience and perseverance. This together led to the creation of the successful United Wardrobe. Which Thijs eventually sold in late 2020, before he turned 30, to the well-known Vinted.
After this story, it was time for relaxed drinks. While enjoying a snack and a drink, we were able to meet and continue chatting about what we had just heard.
We enjoyed celebrating the JBR anniversary together with these young professionals. And we look forward to the coming years of innovation and encounter.
