Making healthcare a little better every day, together with the people in healthcare - that is what drives Tijs. He knows from experience that real change starts as soon as plans are not only right on paper, but also come to life in the workplace.

Tijs has a background as line, program and transition manager within hospitals, care for the disabled and diagnostics. He knows what it's really like in healthcare organizations under pressure - and what it takes to turn strategy into execution. Not from behind a desk, but in the middle of the organization.

Increasingly, Tijs works at the intersection of healthcare transformation and healthcare transactions: mergers, restructurings or strategic collaborations in which both business acumen and change power are needed. "That combination suits me - and JBR. We think ahead, but also keep both feet on the ground."

In early 2025, he reflected on the course of his career. He was looking for space to contribute with energy and dedication to issues that matter. He found that at JBR Interim & Governance. "The click was there immediately. We strengthen each other's network and vision - that gave confidence."

Besides his work, Tijs is a lover of Italy, cooking and good company. As a manager he coached a big league field hockey team for many years and finds fun and performance equally important in his assignments.
