After an international career in executive search consulting at Stanton Chase and Philips, I have been an Associate Partner at JBR since March 2026. JBR is uniquely positioned to find, develop and retain the right Supervisory Directors and Supervisors. JBR's corporate finance practice has in-depth sector knowledge and knows better than anyone else how important Supervisory Directors and Supervisory Boards are to organizations.

Previously, an SB or SB was a hygiene factor for good governance. In today's business climate, they make het difference. They ensure tight governance but also serve as a mirror for boards of directors or owners; after all, it can be lonely at the top. An SB or SBT also provides an independent and different perspective on the organization; tunnel vision is foreign to any board or owner. Today's SB and SB is also dealing with the impact of AI, intergenerational issues and geopolitics.

 With over 25 years of experience in executive search and governance issues, I help organizations build (new) supervisory boards and boards of directors that have lasting impact on an organization. Finding the right match between the culture of an organization, the required capabilities and personality of the candidate that fits into the team dynamics of an SB or SB is what drives me in this great profession.
