Van Rens Expands Nationwide Coverage with the Acquisition of Verkeer Service Zuid-Holland

On June 26, 2026, Van Rens, a division of CADDENZ, acquired Verkeer Service Zuid-Holland B.V. With this acquisition, Van Rens strengthens its position in temporary traffic management and expands its presence to the western part of the Netherlands. JBR acted as M&A advisor on this transaction.

Verkeer Service Zuid-Holland, headquartered in Maasdijk, specializes in supplying and installing temporary traffic control measures and related services. The company carries out most of its projects in the province of Zuid-Holland and is therefore firmly rooted in the Randstad. For Van Rens, which has branches primarily in the south and east of the country, the acquisition is a logical step toward expanding its nationwide coverage and establishing a stronger presence closer to clients in the western Netherlands.

Furthermore, the two companies share a very similar corporate culture. At Van Rens and Verkeer Service Zuid-Holland, safety, craftsmanship, short lines of communication, and personal contact with clients are central to their operations. These shared principles form a solid foundation for a smooth integration and continued joint growth.

Van Rens

For over 90 years, Van Rens has been keeping the Netherlands accessible in a safe and sustainable manner. With expertise in traffic management, road markings, signage, and its own engineering firm, Van Rens offers a wide range of services. Since 2024, Van Rens has been part of CADDENZ and has been working to further strengthen its position in the Dutch market for traffic safety and mobility. The acquisition of Verkeer Service Zuid-Holland is in line with that strategy.

JBR previously advised CADDENZ on the acquisition of Van Rens as a platform investment. With Verkeer Service Zuid-Holland, the first follow-on acquisition has now joined the platform, and the company is also exploring further acquisition opportunities in the Netherlands.
