We are looking for a driven Senior Consultant Strategy with a Master's degree in business administration and/or economics.
What will you do?
As a Senior Consultant Strategy, you speak the language of clients. You can think out of the box and contribute as a project owner to the ambition of clients.
With the support of a partner and/or director of strategy, you are responsible for the entire process, from the initial introduction to the completion and presentation of a strategic project. You are a discussion partner who shapes a strategic issue with the client, in the desired mode of cooperation.
You distinguish yourself by combining analytical skills with innovative thinking, true creativity and flexibility. You surprise and are driven in understanding the issues and context of a company and its issues, always looking for new insights and knowledge.
In collaboration with our corporate finance discipline, you often work at the intersection of Strategy and Corporate Finance. You understand the interaction between strategic choices and M&A or the valuation of a company. And how M&A can contribute to achieving the company's strategy and objectives.
You will work for entrepreneurial national and international clients.
About you
- WO education (Economics BE/Business Administration or a technical study)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in strategy consulting or as a strategist in a medium or large organization
- Broad experience with the methods and techniques used in strategy consulting. Experience with Corporate Finance / M&A is a plus
- You have experience in one or more sectors: Maritime & Offshore, Food & Agri, Healthcare, Energy & Environment, Industrial Markets and Digital Transformation & IT.
- You liaise with customers on a tactical/strategic level
- You have experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and you are proactive, independent and a team player
- Experience in leading projects and managing consultants and business analysts on projects, as well as giving presentations and conducting workshops at client sites
- You are creative, think in solutions, can switch quickly and are interested in complex issues and questions that matter, you identify and inform JBR about commercial opportunities
- You are proactive, independent, a team player and helpful
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing, and you have mastered powerpoint and excel to perfection
