During my studies MSc. Financial Economics and LL.M. Financial Law at Erasmus University, I immersed myself in corporate finance and valuation issues. In addition, I gained further knowledge through an Executive Education within M&A at Imperial Business School. My genuine interest in the financial sector was confirmed during my practical experience gained during my studies within M&A and private equity. I worked for three years at a niche consulting firm within the maritime sector before joining JBR as of May 2025. I made the switch because of the combination of operating at the intersection of the strategic and financial and my passion for the dynamics of the maritime sector, a core expertise of JBR.

In my spare time I enjoy playing chess; the analytical aspects of this can also be found in my work at JBR. I am energized by the variety of projects, the close-knit team and the responsibility you are given from day one. What also motivates me is the incentive to keep developing yourself. JBR's notion that you never stop learning is reflected in the above quote by Albert Einstein.
