Press Release
T&G Group becomes green platform Osmaïa Netherlands
"Continuing to grow while maintaining our local character"
Contractor collective T&G Group is taking the next step in its development. The organization will continue as green platform Osmaïa Netherlands. This transformation is part of a broader collaboration with the Osmaïa Group, a leading European player with an ambition for sustainability and local entrepreneurship.
Local entrepreneurship
With the creation of Osmaïa Nederland, the contractor collective does justice to what makes it a strong player in the market. Osmaïa Nederland retains the local strength of the various companies - each with its own entity and identity - and continues to focus on the design and management of outdoor space. The collaboration with Osmaïa Group creates new opportunities for innovation and sustainability, bringing together regional expertise and international clout. With 1,700 employees across Europe, Osmaïa Group has been working for more than 130 years to strengthen nature and put sustainability at the center of our daily lives. With this new development, the green platform is now also taking root in the Netherlands.
Hans Smulders, founder and director of all companies falling under the contractor collective T&G Group, will become the new CEO of Osmaïa Nederland B.V. and will remain closely involved with the companies within the platform. He sees the transition as an opportunity to give the organization the boost it needs: "With the transition to Osmaïa Nederland, we can combine our knowledge and experience with the strength of an even stronger foundation. This will enable us to respond better to market developments, such as sustainability and electrification, and to meet the challenges of the changing labor market."
An answer to tomorrow's challenges
The market in which T&G Group operates is changing rapidly, requiring adjustments in operations and investments in sustainable innovations. T&G Terrein en Groenvoorziening, Gustaaf, Heesakkers Infra and FacTer - all part of the original contractor collective - can join forces within the green platform and continue to grow without losing their core values.
In addition, international cooperation also provides the necessary extra clout, especially at the local level. This is also emphasized by Eric Bouichet, CEO of Osmaïa Group: ''We are proud to welcome an organization that shares our ambition for quality and sustainable services. This merger will allow our teams to work together and exchange best practices to improve our services and strengthen our positive impact on an international level."
Opportunities for growth in the Netherlands
The transition to Osmaïa Netherlands also offers opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses in the green management field that want to join a stable organization with a strong focus on local entrepreneurship, sustainability and innovation. Several potential transitions are already underway that will provide the group with immediate next impetus in the short term (more on this later).
Smulders: "With Osmaïa Netherlands, we offer a strong foundation where local companies can develop further, while maintaining their own identity. This is the perfect next step in making our company more sustainable, and towards fulfilling our mission of making the Netherlands more sustainable and greener."
