JBR assisted Groupe LT in the acquisition of Van Rens.

The acquisition of Van Rens is an important milestone for Groupe LT. It enables them to enter the Dutch market and confirms their planned international development.

Groupe LT has the ambition to acquire more companies in this sector in the Netherlands, focusing on high-quality services within public works and construction companies.

With this acquisition, Van Rens comes under the management of a European equivalent company and is no longer part of one or more shareholders in the road construction industry. The mutual exchange of information and best practices will help Van Rens to grow further in the Netherlands.

Founded in 2003, Groupe LT is a leading provider of global solutions for site security, signage and modular equipment in France. The company has also been present in Germany since 2022 and new in the Netherlands as of 2024.

Groupe LT's clients include major public works and construction companies, the largest organizers of sports, cultural and local events, and local authorities. The fast-growing network of 17 branches in France is expanding to 20 branches by 2024.

Van Rens has been keeping the Netherlands as accessible as possible in a safe and sustainable way for over 90 years. From road marking and traffic measures to signage and the engineering firm, Van Rens has all the expertise in-house to keep the Netherlands accessible. With the engineering firm and 7 branches, Van Rens has a wealth of expertise, which is embodied and developed by some 100 employees throughout the Netherlands. Turnover is approximately 22 million euros.

Groupe LT acquires Dutch company Van Rens and consolidates its strong international development.

On Oct. 23, Groupe LT acquired Van Rens B.V. from Strukton Groep NV. By acquiring the shares of Strukton as a shareholder of Van Rens, Groupe LT enters the Netherlands and has high expectations for the future. For Strukton, the sale is a logical step in its strategic focus on sustainable infrastructure on and around the railroads.
