Proceeds from JBR New Year's Concert: ItsME Foundation and Youth Fund Sport & Culture.
During an atmospheric gathering at Theater De Mess, proceeds from the annual JBR New Year's Concert were officially handed over to two special charities: ItsME Foundation and the Youth Fund Sport & Culture.
The benefit concert, organized in cooperation with Lions Club Bussum Godelinde, had a clear goal this year: to contribute to a hopeful future for young people. Half of the proceeds will go to the ItsME Foundation, the other half to the Youth Fund Sport & Culture.
Music as an engine for social commitment
The JBR New Year's Concert has grown into a tradition where music and community involvement come together. Since 2010, the New Year's Concert has been performed by the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with renowned (inter)national soloists. JBR is the proud main sponsor of this concert.
Every year, the proceeds of the concert are donated to initiatives that make a real impact. "We believe in the power of looking ahead," says Ronald van Rijn, Managing Partner at JBR. "Not only in our strategic advice, but also in our social role as an organization."

ItsME Foundation - For research into brain (membrane) inflammation
Floor Püttner and Jur Deitmers accepted the donation on behalf of the ItsME Foundation. The foundation was founded by Jur, who was struck twice in 2017 by severe brain inflammation. As a result, all of his memory up to age 21 was lost - including memories of his childhood, family and studies.
The foundation is committed to:
- Increased awareness among doctors about brain (membrane) inflammation such as meningitis and encephalitis.
- Supporting scientific research into these serious conditions.
"Jur Deitmers touches us with his story. His strength and perseverance show how, despite everything, you can keep looking forward. That inspires us to keep an open and standards- and values-free view of the future." explains Ronald van Rijn.
Youth Fund Sport & Culture - Opportunities for all children
The Jeugdfonds Sport & Cultuur also received a nice contribution. Carel Asser and Mary Roseboom accepted the check on behalf of the fund, which works for children and young people from families with little money. Thanks to the fund they can participate in sports or creative classes.
A concrete example of corporate social responsibility
With this annual action, JBR emphasizes its social role as a committed consulting firm. The cooperation with Lions Club Bussum Godelinde enables us to support projects that are in line with our core values: future-oriented, development and social relevance.
