Facts and figures
About Berdi
Since 1992, Berdi has been active in the construction and maintenance of green and hardscape areas, operating from Nagele in the Noordoostpolder and a second location in Watergang, near Amsterdam. The family-owned business has approximately 40 employees and works for municipalities, companies, and sports organizations. Its service area extends from Flevoland, Friesland, Groningen, and Overijssel to the northern part of the Randstad. Its range of services includes tree care and removal, weed control on paved surfaces, roadside and ditch maintenance, ice control, and the construction and maintenance of sports fields.
Osmaïa Netherlands
Osmaïa, formerly Pinson Paysage, is one of France’s largest companies in the landscaping and maintenance sector. MBO & Co. has been the majority shareholder since 2019, and the company has been pursuing an active buy-and-build strategy ever since. In late October 2024, Osmaïa entered the Dutch market with the acquisition of T&G Groep, which continued as Osmaïa Nederland. Van der Drift Hoveniers followed in February 2025. Affiliated companies continue to operate under their own names. Osmaïa is seeking partners who share its commitment to local entrepreneurship, sustainability, and quality.
The transaction
For Osmaïa Nederland, Berdi represents a logical next step. The platform is expanding into the northern and central regions of the Netherlands and adding specialties such as sports field maintenance, ice control, and chemical-free weed management. It is also strengthening its position with municipal clients. For Berdi’s owner, the transaction ensures the continuity of the company, its employees, and its customer relationships. In addition, joining a larger platform provides opportunities for further growth.
