Are you the interlocutor who can translate sharp analyses into daily practice? Are you realistic, energetic and "hands on"?
We are looking for a driven Consultant Corporate Finance with a Master's degree in business administration and/or economics.
What will you do?
You are the hub of the deal team.
With the support of a partner or principal, you will be responsible for the entire process, from the initial introduction to the completion of the transaction. You advise our clients on strategic choices, financing options and negotiations. You are the specialist who ensures the best result.
As a Consultant, you understand and speak the language of clients. You are jointly responsible for preparing sales documentation, sales support and negotiations with buyers. You work for both national and international clients.
Our corporate finance issues relate, for example, to the valuation of companies and operations, acquisitions, or restructuring of publicly traded companies, family businesses or investors.
About you
- You have completed a WO degree in business administration and/or economics, with a Master's degree in Finance, a degree in business valuation is an advantage.
- You have 2 to 5 years of experience in Corporate Finance M&A projects.
- You have experience in one or more sectors: Maritime & Offshore, Food & Agri, Healthcare, Energy & Materials Transition, Industrial Markets and Digital & Technology
- You have experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and you are proactive, independent and a team player.
- You have strong analytical, numerical, communication and written skills.
- You make a commercial contribution in identifying and winning new orders.
- You think in solutions, can move quickly and are interested in complex issues.
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages both verbally and in writing, and you have mastered powerpoint and excel to perfection.

How does your work look like?
You will consider issues such as;
- Will investments pay for themselves?
- What assets should be used to finance the growth of a (family) business?
- What is the best acquisition strategy?
- How can different scenarios paint a picture of the value of the business are the projections?
- What is the added value for strategic buyers?
- Who are the best buyers and what is the best negotiation strategy?
- What effect will a merger have on company successes?
Every client is different! You will begin to immerse yourself in the subject matter and study the trajectory of what is involved. You will primarily do financial modeling and make razor-sharp financial analyses. You will draw up a plan of action and prepare for the client presentation. Your analysis contributes to getting all scenarios complete and arriving at a sound and solidly based decision. Supervising due diligence processes, drafting sales documentation and negotiating are also part of your common tasks. You always work in multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects.
