If you don't know where you want to go, it doesn't matter which way you go. Lewis Caroll, Alice in Wonderland.'
Gone are the days when digitization sat neatly delineated within your company's IT department. Today, digitization is an integral part of your business strategy. You can use it to accelerate your existing business or build completely new business around it. The possibilities are endless. However, as a company, you cannot take advantage of every opportunity. You must first know where you want to go, and then choose the path to get there. Always with a factual and financial foundation.
At JBR, we help you clarify that vision of the future and assess which market trends and technologies represent real growth opportunities for your company.
JBR often works at the intersection of Strategy and Corporate Finance. Digital transformation is a growth strategy for increased value creation. We will use my digital experience at JBR for digital transformations within companies to create a positive and sustainable impact.
For years, I have been fascinated by how to create impact at scale. Throughout my career, I have specialized in various aspects of technology entrepreneurship and innovation.
With a passion for entrepreneurship and an eye for sustainable digitalization, I founded, among others, one of the first Belgian digital product design studios and then a corporate venturing agency. I also worked for almost ten years as a business strategist and technology entrepreneur at the Cronos Group. As a recognized IT holding company, they search for the best technologies and turn them into entrepreneurship. There I learned about and deployed the power of innovation ecosystems in all possible sectors.
Finally, as head of the VR/AR technology lab at the DAE in Belgium, voted the best gaming school in the world, I also connected science and business in the context of Industry 4.0.
The unique combination of experiences and perspectives makes me good at bridging the gap between strategy and practice. I like to use my holistic view and transversal way of working to broaden the view of directors and executives and teach them to think 3-9 years ahead.
