This quote encourages self-development and continuing to actively seek new challenges. It is a wisdom that resonates with my student days, where I tried to always look beyond just my education. This allowed me to be part of several student boards, study in China and work for the University of Groningen.

I found my ultimate passion in the MSc Finance course, with a specific interest in the financial and organizational structures within companies. So when it was time for a new challenge, I started looking for it in the Corporate Finance world.

By participating in a company tour of the FSG study association, JBR came on my path. After making an interesting valuation case study and a nice drink, I stayed in touch with JBR and started the Corporate Finance traineeship in October 2023. I soon discovered that I could develop myself at JBR at lightning speed on both a personal and professional level. You get the chance to work directly on interesting and diverse projects. However, the best part is that you do this within a flat organizational structure with an accessible and friendly group of colleagues!
