This quote by Benjamin Franklin contains several aspects that are important in my work. First, investing in knowledge myself is necessary not only to do this work well, but also to be able to help others by transferring that knowledge. When these two aspects come together, it yields the best returns. Because only together will you get further!

In October 2024, I joined JBR as a Trainee Corporate Finance. Before that, I was able to complete my Bachelor of Economics and Business Economics and Master of Financial Economics Summa Cum Laude at the Erasmus School of Economics with great pleasure and interest. Here I developed my interest in the corporate finance field from my passion for numbers and analysis. During my studies, this came to the fore particularly in working out various valuation issues. I really enjoy working out and analyzing these accurately and communicating the findings.

For my work, therefore, I was looking for a company in which I could further develop my interests and use them to help companies with their financial issues. In this search I came across JBR. JBR's sector expertise combined with its flat organizational structure really appealed to me. After positive discussions with colleagues, my choice for JBR was therefore quickly made! I am looking forward to developing and supporting the team.
