Watcherr, a Belgian MedTech company founded in 2021, provides SaaS and AI to healthcare facilities and people at home through an integrated plug-and-play system of software and devices (smartwatch, smartphone, other). The system continuously monitors the user, both patient and caregiver, to identify irregular (health) patterns to predict, notify and prevent emergencies.
Watcherr is already being used in Belgium, United Kingdom and Canada.
Watcherr has successfully raised €2 million in a Series A financing round with a consortium of private investors.
JBR assisted in preparing a presentation for investors, setting up a financial model, identifying and approaching potential investors, as well as negotiating and advising on structuring the deal and preparing the term sheet.

Belgian Watcherr closes investment round totaling more than €2 million
Watcherr currently operates in Belgium, the United Kingdom and Canada, and the funds raised will help accelerate Watcherr's sales and marketing efforts to expand internationally through trusted distributors.
Watcherr also immediately announces changes within the senior management team, with Erik Horemans joining the Watcherr team as Chief Executive Officer, and Piet Steenberghs joining the Watcher team as Chief Financial Officer.Erik Horemans brings a wealth of experience from the technology industry, with a special focus on scaling startup teams within the software industry. After his experience in financial audit at PWC, Piet Steenberghs has held various financial positions in different industries and has recently focused on tech and SaaS companies.
Watcherr has also recruited new board members with a large business network and years of experience in scaling businesses.

Watcherr offers a plug-and-play health detection system that uses Bluetooth and mobile technology for various sectors. The system continuously monitors the user and provides an alert via the mobile application when the user sounds an alarm or when an irregular pattern/activity is detected. Features such as location tracking and geofencing (indoor and outdoor), two-way voice communication and heart rate monitoring are combined into one waterproof portable device that can be charged on the go.
