Privazorg becomes part of Fundis network
The NZa and ACM have approved the intention to cooperate Fundis and PrivaZorg. This makes the administrative merger of the two companies a reality as of October 1.

PrivaZorg Foundation
PrivaZorg Foundation is a home care organization that provides various extramural care services, including nursing & care, domestic help and assistance in central and southern Netherlands.
- Privazorg provides care through a network of local branches that are an important lynchpin in the local connection between caregivers and their clients
- PrivaZorg works primarily with freelance caregivers Prior to the transaction, JBR conducted a thorough study of PrivaZorg's future, including several scenario analyses
- One of the conclusions was that PrivaZorg wanted to merge with a high-performing, stable and nationwide partner JBR assisted PrivaZorg Foundation throughout the merger process

Fundis Foundation
Fundis Foundation participates in companies providing various forms of care, including care & nursing and domestic help to frail elderly and chronically ill people - so far mainly in South Holland and Utrecht.
- Fundis is convinced that freelance caregivers will make an important contribution to solving the major staff shortage in elderly care in the coming years Fundis wants to tap additional potential outside the regular healthcare labor market and has developed a platform to do so
- PrivaZorg, through its network in the Netherlands and relationships with freelancers, is ideally suited to use the technology

The NZa and ACM approved the intention of Fundis and PrivaZorg to cooperate.
This makes the administrative merger of the two companies a reality as of October 1.
With this merger, PrivaZorg will become an independent part of Fundis' network. The legal merger will take place at the end of 2021. JBR assisted PrivaZorg in the strategic reorientation, the search for suitable partners and the merger negotiations with Fundis.
