Living at September acquires residential care organization Van Hollant
With the development of five care villas in North Holland, Van Hollant offers care apartments where the elderly live independently with access to 24-hour personal care and services. A characteristic of Van Hollant is that it houses residents with psychogeriatric complaints as well as residents with somatic complaints. In order to make this form of care possible for more residents in the future, Van Hollant was taken over by Orpea Groep and Wonen bij September as of January 15. The Dutch Healthcare Authority has already approved the takeover.

- Villa Craenenbroeck currently offers 24-hour personal care in 29 luxurious apartments
- The shareholders of Van Hollant coordinated their own sale process and were assisted by AKD Benelux Lawyers for legal advice

Living at September has small-scale residential homes and specializes in dementia care for high-impact seniors.
- Living at September has been part of the ORPEA Group* since early 2019 and currently has 15 branches throughout the Netherlands
- As a new strategic partner, Living at September is using its expertise to further develop Van Hollant as a private comfort care provider
- JBR assisted the shareholders of Housing by September throughout the sale process

The impact
The acquisition will not affect the living comfort of and the care to be provided to residents of the current care villas. The care offer will remain the same and both the current employees and management will be retained. This fully guarantees the continuity and current quality of Van Hollant.

Orpea Group is a French healthcare organization with locations in Europe, specializing in care housing for the elderly. They are expanding in the Netherlands and operate with its labels Allerzorg, Bloemendael, Compartijn, Dagelijks Leven, Wonen bij September and Woonzorgnet.
Living at September
Like Van Hollant, Wonen bij September has small-scale residential homes for the elderly where loving care, warmth and personal attention are paramount. Wonen bij September currently consists of 15 residential homes throughout the Netherlands.
